Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) Accommodation Costs Scholarship

The purpose of the Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) Accommodation Costs Scholarship is to financially assist Indigenous students on low incomes who are from regional and remote areas.

Successful undergraduate, postgraduate, TPP and IHEPP students will receive a one-off payment for Semester 2, 2018. Students may be eligible for both the ISSP Education Costs Scholarship and the ISSP Accommodation Costs Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis.

If you currently hold an on-going Commonwealth Scholarship (ICECS, ICAS, IECECS, IECAS) you cannot also accept the ISSP Scholarship. If you are offered and wish to accept an ISSP Scholarship, you are required to cancel your Commonwealth Scholarship in writing.

Students who received the ISSP Scholarship in Semester 1 are encouraged to apply again in Semester 2.

  • The scholarship will have a maximum value of $2000 for full-time students (3 or 4 courses) and $1000 for part-time students (1 or 2 courses).
  • This is a one-off payment.
