John Ross Clancy Indigenous Student Book Bursary

In 2021, USQ will offer one John Ross Clancy Indigenous Student Book Bursary to support an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student commencing a bachelor's degree.

The late John Ross Clancy was an advocate for Australian Indigenous affairs, and generously bequeathed funds to USQ to advance Australian Indigenous higher education. While John Ross Clancy had many achievements, both he and his wife, Lydia, were active in initiating the Black Women's Action group in the 1970s.

The bursary will have a maximum value of $500 to be paid in Semester 1, in the form of an account through the USQ Bookshop.
