These scholarships provide an opportunity for current USQ students intending to progress into a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program, such as a PhD, to develop their research skills by assisting an academic staff member on a research project during the summer period. Students will have the opportunity to gain access to research networks and connections with other staff at the university.
Stipend (living allowance) of up to $300 per week. Payments are made on a fortnightly basis with a duration of 6-10 weeks.
To be eligible applicants must:
- be currently enrolled in a USQ honours or coursework masters program and intend to apply for entry into an HDR program;
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident;
- commence the scholarship during semester three, 2019.
