These scholarships provide an opportunity for current USQ students intending to progress into a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program, such as a PhD, to develop their research skills by assisting an academic staff member on a research project during the summer period. Students will have the opportunity to gain access to research networks and connections with other staff at the university.
Stipend (living allowance) of $250 per week. Payments are made on a fortnightly basis with a duration of 6-10 weeks.
To be eligible applicants must:
- be currently enrolled in a USQ honours or coursework masters program and intend to apply for entry into an HDR program;
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident;
- commence the scholarship during semester three, 2018.
