Through a research partnership between Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources (NIEER), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is offering a postgraduate scholarship for a student commencing Doctor of Philosophy in 2019.
NIEER and USQ jointly collaborate on a project on “Integration and application of water resources security technology”, to develop advanced data transformative (machine learning) models to design decision support systems.
The CAS-USQ PhD scholarship will align with this objective, co-funded by NIEER (led at USQ by Dr Ravinesh Deo in Advanced Data Analytics Lab: Environmental Modelling and Simulation Group and NIEER led by Professor Feng Qi the Deputy Director of the CAS Institute).
