In 2022, USQ will offer six USQ Women's Network Bursaries, to encourage and support female students continuing their studies in a postgraduate coursework program.
USQ Women's Network Bursary
Applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status and be enrolled on-campus, external or online; or
- be an international student enrolled on-campus at any USQ campus
- identify as female
- be continuing their studies at USQ in a postgraduate coursework program in Semester 1 2022
- have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 as at the release of results for Semester 2 2021
- be enrolled in a minimum of 1 study unit in Semester 1 2022.
*Previous recipients of the USQ Women’s Network Bursary are not eligible to re-apply.
Applicants must submit a personal statement (500 words maximum) outlining:
- your aspirations and career goals for the future
- how the bursary will assist you to achieve your future career plans
- your understanding, enthusiasm and commitment to education
- details of activities that demonstrate involvement in industry or community organisations relevant to your development as an individual.
*Applicants will be assessed on academic achievement.
Please Note: If an applicant holds other USQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection.
