Chancellor's Scholarship

In 2018, USQ will offer three Chancellor's Scholarships.  A scholarship will be awarded to the most outstanding applicant commencing full-time on-campus study at each of the Toowoomba, Springfield and Ipswich campuses.

Value

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $12 000.

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

  • be an Australian Citizen or have permanent resident status 
  • commence their studies in a bachelor degree in Semester 1 2018
  • be enrolled at Toowoomba, Springfield or Ipswich campus
  • be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in each of Semester 1 and Semester 2 of each year of study 
  • be studying on-campus.

Selection criteria

Applicants must:

  • provide evidence of academic achievement, e.g. high school report card 
  • achieve an OP 1 or 2 (or equivalent ranking)  
  • demonstrate a history of involvement within your school, extracurricular activities or within your local community.

Applications can also be delivered to Student Services at Ipswich or Springfield Campuses.

If you are lodging multiple applications, you must complete separate application forms, each with a set of supporting documents. The Scholarships Office does not copy supporting documents. These may be posted/delivered in the same envelope as long as they are stapled separately.

Applications will be accepted if posted on the due date (must be date stamped by Australia Post).

Applications will not be accepted via fax or email.

Short-listed applicants may be required to attend an interview.

Applications close at 5pm Friday 27 October 2017.
