USQ Endowment Fund Bursaries and USQ Equity Scholarship

This is a merit-based, non-repayable scheme and targets students experiencing financial hardship. Scholarships and bursaries are awarded on a competitive basis.

Please Note: Should your application for a USQ Endowment Fund Bursary or USQ Equity Scholarship be successful, the funds will not be available until approximately eight weeks after the Semester 2 census date (which is 4 August, 2017).

If you are relying on a USQ Equity Scholarship to purchase your Semester 2 textbooks and study resources, we recommend you consider applying for an interest free Student Financial Loan. The USQ Equity Scholarship (USQ Bookshop book bursary) funds can be used to repay Student Financial Loans. Please refer to the Student Financial Loan webpage for more information and applications forms, or contact Student Services.

The scheme provides for five different award options:

  • Book Bursary through USQ Bookshop up to $1500 OR
  • Officeworks Gift Card up to $1000 OR
  • Coles Gift Card up to $1000 OR
  • Woolworths Gift Card up to $1000 OR
  • Direct Deposit Bursary up to $1000

Students will be required to number their preferences from 1-5. A limited number of Direct Deposit Bursaries are available. If the number of requests for Direct Deposit Bursaries exceeds the number available, the next preference will be considered. Applications without numbered preferences will be allocated by the scholarships office.
