Adjective patterns
You usually find adjectives in front of nouns, but some can also be used in the following ways:
- followed by that + clause:
It is wonderful that all the family could attend the wedding.
- after a verb, but describing the subject
Good health is more valuable than wealth.
- followed by ‘to’ = infinitive
It is easy to see how he won the competition.
