More than just numbers
Accountancy is not just about numbers anymore, it is integral to the success of many modern businesses. The fast moving and diverse nature of business operations means accountants are involved in exciting and dynamic decisions on a daily basis and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. Modern accountants also have up to date knowledge and experience of contemporary accounting information systems.
USQ’s Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting (Extended)) provides a unique extension to the Accounting major. An extra four units of study will give you an advanced understanding of financial reporting and company operations. Successful completion of the Accounting (Extended) major can qualify students for exemptions from the Fundamental level (9 papers) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams.
