Advance you career
Advance your understanding of visual arts theory and practice with our Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) (Visual Arts). This degree will allow you to critically analyse a range of historical and contemporary issues and explore their impact on the arts and society. You will also have the opportunity to complete a dissertation under supervision in your area of interest.
This degree will further your skills, giving you the edge that you need to succeed as a practising artist, secondary school teacher (with further study), art critic, librarian, curator or in the areas of arts administration, studio and gallery management, community arts and arts research.

You may not have to pay your course (subject) fees upfront. HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP allows you to defer your fees until your income reaches a certain level.

Entry Requirements
- Completion of a bachelor degree, or equivalent, in Creative Arts or a related discipline, with a minimum Grade Point Average of 5.0.
Applicants will be required to write a proposal outlining their field of study (relevant to the appropriate discipline), that also outlines the initial direction of their Honours research. Students will also be required to have an interview with relevant supervisor/s (telephone or face-to-face). This will be in addition to students having a 5.0 (or above) GPA.
English Language Requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.
