USQ’s Bachelor of Creative Arts is a unique degree that allows you either to specialise in one specific discipline area or combine studies in two or more creative discipline areas.

You will work independently and collaboratively throughout your studies to gain the vital knowledge and skills associated with the performing and visual arts, broadcast and film professions. The program of intensive studio practice, theory studies and personal reflection will prepare you for an exciting career as a professional artist and give you the tools for continuing your artistic development over a lifetime.

Career opportunities

Graduates are prepared to pursue a wide range of opportunities in the Arts industry as a practicing artist or as a media professional. Graduates may also enter the industry in areas such as Arts Administration, Community Arts or Technical and Production Management. You will also be ideally placed to pursue honours and post-graduate study

Graduates who chose to focus on two discipline areas throughout their studies will also be well placed to undertake further studies to gain teacher registration.
