Project Management

Project Management is an integral part of senior management positions as a process of facilitating change or adding value to an organisation. As a Project Management student at USQ, you will learn to organise and manage the resources of a project from planning to completion within a series of constraints such as time, cost and scope to meet predefined objectives.

  • USQ is registered with the Project Management Institute (PMI)® as a Global Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.). A study of project management at USQ earns professional development units towards certification with PMI including towards the Project Management Professional (PMP)®. PMI, PMP and Project Management Professional (PMP) are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
  • Times have changed, and anyone with a bit of MS Office ‘know-how’ can create a Gantt chart, but it takes far more than a Gantt chart to make a project a success. Assoc. Prof. Jon Whitty is better equipping organisations to deal with the messy realities of project work. Find out more about this research.
