Become a world-class leader 

Do you aspire to be the type of leader who helps others reach their full potential and achieve their goals? In the Graduate Certificate of Leadership and Coaching, you will learn about your own and others’ leadership styles and how to motivate and connect with people. You will graduate with the skills to lead and manage organisational change and become an effective leader within your chosen industry. 

Further study

After completing the Graduate Certificate of Leadership and Coaching, you have the option to take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Masters of Business Administration.

As a graduate, you could pursue a career as a CEO, General Manager, Group Executive Manage, State or Country Manager, Product Development Manager, Team or Group Leader, Business Manager, Business Director, Manufacturing Manager, Executive Director, Human Resource Manager, or Strategic Planner.

Loan to help you pay your fees

You may not have to pay your course (subject) fees upfront. HECS-HELP allows you to defer your fees until your income reaches a certain level.

You may also be eligible to receive financial support from Centrelink.

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of an Australian university Bachelor degree in any area, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years’ professional work experience, or equivalent. 

English Language Requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Applying directly to USQ:

  • Semester 1, 2020 - applications close Friday 6 March, with semester 1 commencing on Monday 24 February 2020.

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
