Language and Culture
Enhance your employment prospects by studying a degree in Language and Culture at USQ.
Our Language and Cultures programs in German and Mandarin Chinese will equip you with highly desired employable skills and cross-cultural awareness that could take you abroad for further study or work.
You will develop formal and informal communication skills for conversation, reading and writing and you will learn about the language and culture through contemporary literature, popular newspapers and magazines.
Many of our Language and Culture degrees do not require any prior knowledge of the language.
The Language and Culture (German or Mandarin Chinese) major will be discontinued after Semester 2, 2018. If you are completing or wishing to undertake this major, you will be required to study via cross-institutional mode from 2019 onwards.
