Become a skilled public relations practitioner
Strengthen your career prospects as a skilled public relations practitioner in the areas of strategic corporate and organisational communication, crisis management and community consultation with USQ’s Master of Arts (Corporate Communication). Your research will allow you focus on a major corporate communications project which will be a great addition to your portfolio.
You will graduate with a greater variety in opportunities to further pursue your public relations career in areas such as public and private industry, corporate communications, management and teaching.

Loan to help you pay your fees
You may not have to pay your course (subject) fees upfront. FEE-HELP allows you to defer your fees until your income reaches a certain level.
You may also be eligible to receive financial support from Centrelink.
Scholarships and financial assistance
You may be able to apply for scholarships to help with your study costs.
- 3-year bachelor degree such as Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Creative Arts, or other approved award at USQ or another accredited tertiary institution, with a minimum GPA of 5.0
- Completed USQ's Postgraduate Certificate in Business and have a minimum of 2 years full-time (or 4 years part-time) industry/professional work experience.
Students intending to undertake research or project work should note that selection of any research topic is subject to the availability of an appropriate supervisor and students must accept faculty guidance in their selection.
English Language Requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

- Semester 1, 2020 - applications close Friday 6 March, with semester 1 commencing on Monday 24 February 2020.
- Semester 2, 2020 - applications close Friday 24 July, with semester 2 commencing on Monday 13 July 2020.
