Become a heath care leader
If you are a registered health professional looking to move into a leadership role in your area of specialisation, USQ’s Master of Health is for you. This theoretically based degree is designed to complement your current employment in the health industry by broadening your scope of practice and increasing your expertise in your area of specialisation.
Your study options
- Advanced Clinical Practice
- Community Health
- General
- Gerontology
- Health Leadership (incorporating Clinical Education)
- Mental Health
- Rural and Remote Health (incorporating Scheduled Medicines)
Alternatively you may like to undertake a General specialisation and personalise the courses studied, with approval, to suit your own career needs.
Professional recognition
Students enrolling in the Rural and Remote specialisation may elect to include the scheduled medicines courses. The Scheduled Medicines program is accredited with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) to enable graduates to apply for scheduled medicines endorsement.
Study flexibility
If you are not sure whether you would like to complete an entire Masters degree, apply to study USQ’s Graduate Certificate of Health or Graduate Diploma of Health and take the credit from your studies to the Master of Education if you decide to continue studying.
