Transform a business to meet IT innovation challenges

In a world of constant disruption, you can learn why and how to drive, build and measure IT innovation that lead to higher levels of organisational performance with USQ’s Master of IT Innovation. 

This highly hands-on masters degree delves into creativity, innovation, and IT entrepreneurship, and will give you advanced skills in Big Data analytics, user-centred design of interfaces, cyber security, blockchain principles, and cloud computing.

The capstone research project will provide an opportunity to work with industry and allows you to apply theory to practice in a laboratory environment, facilitated through a collaborative workspace.

Professional accreditation

USQ is seeking accreditation for this degree with the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Graduates will increase their skill-set related to the business application of IT innovation and can find career opportunities as a IT developer, start-up manager, IT manager, IT enterprise manager, IT enterprise architect, or data analyst.

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of a three-year Australian university Bachelor degree in the area of ICT.


  • A minimum of two years’ professional work experience in IT or Management, or equivalent.

English Language Requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.
