Overview

From your first year and throughout your degree, you will complete clinical placements with Queensland Ambulance Service to gain ‘hands-on experience’. You will receive theoretical and practical training in the areas of assessment, analysis, decision-making and working in difficult situations. As a paramedic student you will have the chance to improve your skills in our modern simulated laboratories that include two ambulances and emergency equipment used by paramedics world-wide.

USQ's Bachelor of Paramedicine is accredited by the Paramedicine Board of Australia and listed as an approved degree with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
