Herscovitch-Duncan First Nations Scholarship in Nursing and Midwifery

Reopened for a second round.

In 2024, UniSQ will offer one Herscovitch-Duncan First Nations Scholarship in Nursing and Midwifery to support an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student commencing their studies in the Bachelor of Nursing, or Bachelor of Midwifery.

Established in 2024 through the founding gifts of Fleur Herscovitch, this endowed scholarship supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students pursuing a career in Nursing or Midwifery. The scholarship commemorates the tireless efforts of Pam Duncan and her advocacy for public health investment in and around Boggabilla in northern NSW.

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $2000 to be paid in one instalment.
