International Fees Research Scholarship (HDR)

UniSQ is offering a limited number of Fee scholarships for International students studying, or commencing one of the following programs in 2025:

Doctor of Business Administration (current students only)
Doctor of Education (current students only)
Doctor of Creative Arts (current students only)
Doctor of Professional Engineering (current students only)
Doctor of Professional Studies (current students only)
Master of Research (commencing and current students)
Master of Science (Research) (current students only)
Master of Engineering Research (current students only)
Master of Business Research (current students only)
Master of Professional Studies (current students only)
Master of Laws (Research) (current students only)

Students studying full-time in any of the above programs are preferred.

Please note: Doctor of Philosophy (DPHD) students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. DPHD students may instead apply for International Fees Scholarship

Application for entry into the program is a separate process that must be started to be eligible for the scholarship. Application steps can be found here.

Tuition fees for a period of 3 years full-time equivalent study, paid by UniSQ. Periods of study already undertaken towards the degree will be deducted from the scholarship.

hold a qualification regarded by UniSQ to be equivalent, or at higher level to a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours;
must have applied for enrolment or currently be enrolled in a PhD at UniSQ;
be an international student, not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident;
not be in receipt of similar funding from the Australian Government;
not be a sponsored student receiving similar funding from their Government, or other organisations;
must have applied for enrolment or currently be enrolled in a HDR program at UniSQ (except the PhD)

Applicants will be assessed on:

alignment with the University's research priority areas;
academic merit, previous research outputs and research experience of the applicant;
research track record of the proposed supervisory team;
quality of the research proposal.

Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarship Application Management System by the closing date.
