In 2022, the USQ Women's Network will offer one International Women's Conference Bursary to support a female student commencing their studies in a bachelor's degree.
International Women's Conference Bursary
Applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
- identify as female
- be commencing their studies at USQ in a bachelor's degree program in Semester 1 2022
- have a high level of academic achievement
- be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in Semester 1 2022
- be enrolled on-campus, external or online.
Applicants must:
- submit a personal statement (500 words maximum), outlining:
- a history of involvement within your school, extracurricular activities or within your local community in one or more of the following areas:
- justice, health and community services, education, environmental and social service related fields
- a history of involvement within your school, extracurricular activities or within your local community in one or more of the following areas:
- provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
- high school report card or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results) from outside USQ, e.g. school, TAFE etc.
- provide evidence of financial hardship as directed in the application process.
Please Note: If an applicant holds other USQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection.
