Australian Women’s Cricket Vice-Captain Rachael Haynes’ career has taken her from the backyard pitch to stadiums all around the world. While she’s representing the country in the sport that she loves, she is also undertaking UniSQ’s Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Having graduated in 2021, Ms Haynes said she absolutely loved her experience on and off the field.

'After the excitement of our team turning fully professional, I wanted to also ensure that I was preparing myself for life after sport,' Ms Haynes said.

Rachel commented that the best thing about UniSQ’s MBA was that she could continue to do it anywhere in the world.

'I could be in India one month, UK the next – so I really needed to find a course that was going to support me through that type of environment and allow me to be flexible.'

Ms Haynes thoroughly enjoyed her degree and is excited to see what the future holds, hoping to give back to sport.

'I’m really passionate about sport and I want to contribute in another way once I retire.'
