The UniSQ Ally Network aims to provide a safe-zone and a visible support network for students and employees who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer or questioning (LGBTIQ+). An empathetic, supportive Ally is never far away if you’re part of the UniSQ community.

If you’d like to join the UniSQ support system for staff and students who identify as LBGTIQ, check out our upcoming training days

If you're looking for someone to talk to or a safe space to relax, keep and eye out for theses 4 signs you've found a UniSQ Ally

  1. Rainbow sticker on a door or window.
  2. Wearing a rainbow pin.
  3. A UniSQ Ally reference or rainbow in an email signature
  4. UniSQ Ally website which allows you to search for staff members who are already Ally members by campus.

If you have any questions about the Ally network after checking out the website, please email ally@unisq.edu.au.
