Here at UniSQ, providing you with a safe and secure work environment is central our culture.
Our security team work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to patrol the University grounds and provide security protection services to staff and students at all 3 of our campuses.
We’re now going a step further by launching SafeZone. This is a safety app for your phone which allows you to request assistance with just a few taps. Once you tap any of the First Aid, Assistance or Emergency buttons, UniSQ Security can see your location on campus, and send a Security Officer to help you.
The app also allows us to send you notifications in the event of an emergency.
The app is free to download on Apple and Android devices. Simply register with your UniSQ staff or student email address, and make sure you enable notifications and location services when you first sign in.
It’s important to note, the SafeZone app does not track your location, unless you request assistance or use the Check-In feature.
