Transport and parking

UniSQ shuttle bus services

All UniSQ staff and students can access the inter-campus shuttle bus service between UniSQ Toowoomba, UniSQ Springfield, and UniSQ Ipswich free of charge. Details on the shuttle bus services are available through Campus Services.

Public transport 

The TransLink bus service connects UniSQ Springfield with many major suburbs and train stations. Timetable information is available from TransLink. The bus stop is just a one minute walk from UniSQ. 

Parking

UniSQ parking is located in the car park adjacent to the UniSQ multi courts off University Drive. Additional parking is available off Education City Drive in the General Parking at a cost.

Students and staff are eligible to apply for free parking permits to the UniSQ Springfield campus car park. From Semester 1 2021 students can obtain a Springfield parking permit from iconnect, B Block Atrium, Springfield. Staff will continue to obtain their permits from Security

PriPark Annual Semester and Yearly passes can be purchased (cash only) from Level 1 of the World Knowledge Centre at a cost of AUD110 (one semester) and AUD230 (three semesters). 

General public and visitors  

Tickets can be purchased from machines at the entrance of each parking area at a cost of AUD3 for up to five hours and AUD5 from five to 12 hours. Tickets must be displayed clearly on the dashboard of your car. 

Disabled parking 

Three free bays in Parking Area 2 are available for staff and students who hold a Queensland Transport Disabled Persons Parking Permit or similar permit issued by an equivalent authority in another state. This permit must be displayed when parking in these bays

Bicycle and e-scooter travel 

The University offers staff and students as secure End of Trip facilities to store bicycles whilst attending the campuses. The facilities contain toilet, shower and locker facilities. These facilities can be found at Toowoomba U4 Block (east end of Y Block) and U3 Block (southern side of D Block) and Springfield (adjacent to ground floor entrance of Building B) campuses.

Access for approved users into these facilities is by swipe card. To gain approval attend our security office and one of our friendly Campus Safety and Security team, will provide you with an application form. Upon completion, access will be applied to your University ID card.

E-vehicle charging

A limited number of electric vehicle charging bays are available on Toowoomba, car park 10, Springfield, car park 2 and Ipswich, car park 2.
