Students must be able to attend mandatory and highly recommended residential schools at a USQ campus. This program is not available to international students unless living in Australia and holding a valid 457 visa with a duration of no less than 3 years.

If you want to become a professional engineer, and have a 3-year engineering degree and significant work experience, USQ’s Master of Engineering Practice will get you there.

This degree has an emphasis on workplace experience to demonstrate your competency as a professional engineer. It is the only program within Australia that incorporates workplace learning as a way of achieving possible credit for your degree.

Professional accreditation

Through the Master of Engineering Practice, you will gain the eligibility to apply for membership as a Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia. You will also have the opportunity to work overseas, with your accreditation recognised in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, Ireland, Hong Kong, New Zealand and South Africa.
