Memorising

  • Create memory aids
  • Diagrams and mnemonics work well for key facts and mindmaps for concepts.
  • Use schemas, make associations
  • Chunk information into 5-7 bits, e.g., five sets of three words, or five sets of longer sentences.
  • For complex lists and formulae, use a series of images linked by a story.
