The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (History) degree will allow you to extend upon your skills and knowledge in history and develop your capacity for specialised study, research and scholarship at a higher academic level.
The degree includes courses in research design and method as well as history specialist topics. You will also complete a dissertation under supervision in an area of your interest.
This degree will equip you for further postgraduate studies at either Masters or Doctoral level, or a career in teaching (with further study), journalism, publishing, the public service, archiving, library work or community history.

Entry Requirements
- Completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Arts or a related discipline, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0.
English Language Requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.
